There are many benefits available to you when you join WTA.

Two big events are held each year. In February we have our State Competition in Green Bay and in August we have our Regional Rendezvous in Wausau. Each event is three days of fun, education and camaraderie. Membership allows you to pre-register for the February Competition at a Members Rate, which is a major reduction from the Non-members Rate. Along with the opportunity to compete, you will have one-on-one time to review your entry with the judges.

As a member, you may attend free seminars put on by some of the best international, national and state taxidermists today. These seminars are packed full of information for taxidermists by taxidermists. The Rendezvous in August affords you the opportunity to meet with and buy directly from taxidermy vendors. Both of these events have a banquet where you can meet with fellow WTA members, enjoy good food and conversation, and take part in the events of the evening.

The membership year is from January 1 to December 31. Members receive a membership card, quarterly newsletters and an annual report. WTA also keeps its members up-to-date on state and national policies that are directed at our profession. WTA is a family, a family of people who all have taxidermy on the brain, and becoming an active part of this family may benefit you as well as us in ways we never
